Abstract:
The article is dedicated to different approaches to defining the term «virtual museum», to the influence of information-telecommunication technologies on the extension of the practice of virtual museums establishment, and, finally, to the consequences of the influence of museum space virtualization on the prospects of cultural tourism development.
