The author reveals the problems hindering sustainable innovative development, names their causes and determines the ways of addressing these problems. He proposes some methods and approaches to forming organizational and economic mechanisms of innovative development. He suggests a methodology for constructing the "architecture" of a single innovative infrastructure with a back-centered (entrepreneurial) focus: from the regions to the center. The author states the requirements to the service divisions of innovative infrastructure. He shows the necessity of introducing changes in the strategic guidelines and criteria in order to implement sustainable innovative development into practice.
