Abstract:

The paper shows a mechanism for agency problems solving in Russian corporations. According to the autor, the strategy to reduce agency costs should be related to justification and rationality of their use, With provided transparency shareholders reseive the signal on how effectively or not their agents control their own property. The author highlights that sush a signal about the effectiveness of corporate governance is the growth of corporate value.
