Abstract:

The article deals with the global experience of electric power sector deregulation and the creation of a decentralized system of scheduling production and distribution of electricity and power. The author analyzes the results of restructuring the electricity industry in different countries, explores the reasons for failure and success of liberalization of electricity energy market.
