Social transformation that engulfed the modern state and society are associated with the crisis of the market doctrine, which was insufficient for the theoretical study and practical implementation in the public life of the changes that accompany the dialectical development of human civilization. The scientific explanation and justification of such changes in the present historical conditions, is an important interdisciplinary problem. Today in the scientific literature there is quite definitely the categories of "economic space" and "social space". It must be recognized that it is not worked out unified conceptual for these categories, which would allow them to integrate into a single concept of socioeconomic space. One of the reasons for this, in our view, lies in the fact that it is not found consistent theoretical and methodological foundations on which this can be based concept. The task of justification of theories of the unity of economic and social spaces into one — a theory of socioeconomic space, has defined the purpose of this article.
