The paper analyzes the issues of the role of market mechanism in the social system of the state, and draw conclusions about the need to address the negative impact of market self-regulatory mechanism for public institutions. For these purposes, it is proposed to withdraw all the subsystems of the social system from the operation of the market mechanism. The author highlights the problem of underutilization of the capacity of the cooperative, joint ways of organizing large-scale industries, public and private ways to control monopolies and socially equitable division of income through taxation.
