The research papers on the topic of operation of the Moscow subway published in the last decade investigate purely technical or aesthetic aspects of its operation, while the statistical component of the analysis of operation of the Moscow subway, as well as that of its construction, has not yet become the subject of an in-depth study. The purpose of this study is a statistical analysis of the current state of the Moscow subway, as well as the dynamics of its basic economic parameters, financial indicators of maintenance. Not only does the evaluation of statistical data provide the opportunity to analyze the dynamics of the development of the Moscow subway, but it also helps to assess its role in the transport structure of Moscow more accurately.
