The work analyzes export-import transactions of power mechanical engineering of Russia for the last three years and charts a map of key players of foreign trade in this area on five main product groups. It becomes clear that the import orientation characterizes Russia’s trade relations with the developed countries while exports mainly go to the CIS and developing countries. Potential losses of the market in terms of modern international conflict are indicated.
