Abstract:

The article describes the features of the town-planning development of urban areas in major urban centers, as well as the main differences of comprehensive projects of residential development from the traditional, point construction. Key problems of implementation of comprehensive residential development of an area and the need to use an innovative management system in the form of a special sort of development, resulted from the problems, are presented.
