Abstract:

Today within market economy formation and development it is impossible to build competent town-planning strategy, basing only on the existing standard outdated base and traditional composition and planning methods of city territories formation. Only when town-building strategy of territories goes hand in hand with the strategy of social and economic development of settlements, it is possible to develop projects which really have prospects to be realized and correspond to social needs not only today, but also in the foreseeable future.
