Abstract:

The article introduces the review of principal problems of participation of small business in government procurement which are divided into two categories: system issues of Federal acquisition process in Russia and SME-specific problems. The second part of the article is dedicated to the consequences of implementation of Federal contracting system on 01/01/2014 on small and medium-sized enterprises participation in government procurement.
