Abstract:

The article describes the current problems and prospects of development of branches of agriculture in the Russian Federation, necessity of application of simulation modeling and decision support systems for management in the development of regional livestock complex. The author proves the conceptual approaches to the modelling of the livestock complex, describes the structural elements of the simulation model and leads practical recommendations for the development of the capacity of the complex.
