Abstract:

Economic growth of agro-industrial complex in modern conditions is possible on the base of rise of its competitiveness. The author defines the essence of competitiveness of regional agro-industrial complex viewed as multiple-factor and complex phenomena. On the base of this definition, using the theory of strategic alliances the author offers the concept of its competitiveness rise. Mechanism of creation of agro-industrial strategic alliance was elaborated. On the base of author’s methodology of competitiveness management of the regional agro-industrial complex, oriented on the recognition not only production factors, but also on the recognition of factors-conditions, the article offers the model of potato processing strategic alliance. The role of such alliance in the rise of the regional competitiveness is also substantiated in the article.
