Abstract:

The author proposes a methodology for assessment of social and economic development level of mono-towns. In the presented methodology the author points out the following blocks of indicators: social block, economic block and the block demonstrating the degree of multi-specialization. This method is currently undergoing validation in mono-towns of the Zentralno-Chernozemnyi Economic Region: Gubkin, Novovoronezh, Pavlovsk, Rossosh, Semiluki, Zheleznogorsk, Kurchatov, Lebedyan, Lipetsk.
