Abstract:

The article presents the author's interpretation of the model of McFarlain matrix, as well as its extended version for the sphere of information technologies, on the basis of which one can define the need of different types of organizations for information systems and their functional potentials, build a strategy of cooperation between business and information systems. The effectiveness of the matrix as a tool of information management is shown on the example of the Nizhny Novgorod design studio INNOV.RU.
