Abstract:

This article analyzes the phenomenon of horizontal spread of corruption in society. It reveals that the individual's knowledge and suspicions about corruption in his inner circle or society in whole that form the expectations of the corruption growth. The existence of such expectations is the basic element of corrupt behavior and it increases the corruption in whole.
