Abstract:

What is the level of development of entrepreneurship in the regions of Russia? Can it be measured? The paper presents the author's system of calculation. Applying it to a number of subjects of the Russian Federation, the author examines how this index relates to the quality of life of their population as measured by such indicators as "employment in the non-governmental sector", "provision of the population with trade facilities", "provision with catering facilities".
