Abstract:

The article deals with the actual problems of attracting investments into the Russian Federation. Investors face with a huge number of risks, despite the common defense mechanisms of investment and government guarantees. So far, the fuel and energy complex, which has about one third in total amount of the foreign investment, remains most active from the investment point of view. State regulation is interrelated with market mechanisms operating in the country, so the key factor, in the author's opinion, is the investment policy that can affect the structure of savings of the citizens and their investment activity.
