Abstract:

The article deals with the issues of assignation of the arrears by the banks in favor of collection agencies specializing in debt collection. The emphasis is made on the urgent need for the legal regulation of their activities, including taking into account the draft Federal Law "On the activity of the recovery of arrears of individuals", prepared for the consideration by the State Duma. The effectiveness of the own services of debt collection, organized within the structure of the bank, is analyzed.
