Abstract:

The article discusses the current state of Russian small businesses. Its current distinguishing feature, in author's opinion, is the asymmetry. Whereas a small business is mobile and flexible, and it should fill every possible niche in all sectors of the economy, in Russia it is most developed in the sectors of trade and repair of motor vehicles. To eliminate this asymmetry, it is necessary to improve the system of state support of small business.
