Abstract:

The article examines the main trends in the development of foreign economic activity of the southern regions of Russia. North Caucasian and Southern Federal District in question are subsidized – in a number of regions the federal budget' subsidies reach a critical amount of 80%. However, these regions of the country have also begun to develop its foreign economic activities. One of its forms is to attract foreign investment.
