Abstract:

The article examines the issues of formation of the present situation of the world oil and gas market. The factors of strengthening the competitive position of oil and gas companies (OGC) are analyzed, taking as an example the Russian, Chinese and Indian OGC. The implications of both negative and positive decisions of the state are identified, in particular, the policy of supporting national companies and the displacement of private OGC from the Russian market. The recommendations on the formation of Russia's energetic security strategy are given.
