Abstract:

The author expresses the opinion that in Buryatia in all end-use sectors there is a significant technical potential for energy savings – not less than 35% of the current consumption. To implement the regional energy efficiency programs the author suggests establishing the energy security management directorate and at the level of each company to encourage employees to save energy by putting forward cost-effective rules of conduct.
