Abstract:

The paper proves the necessity of developing new approaches to the assessment of the banking business, which is connected with the formation of the deposit component of the resource base of the bank. It suggests the author's definition of the deposit process (depositing) and its participants, defines the groups of principles and gives their characteristics.
