Abstract:

The paper discusses the basic approaches and principles of forming the system of regional strategic planning. It analyzes planning of the socio-economic development in the Sverdlovsk Region in terms of the systems approach. The author underlines the main problems of forming the strategic planning system in the region and suggests directions for their solution.
