Abstract:

The paper analyzes the case of the efficiency of budget spending in the Lipetsk Region. According to the study, budgets are not always directed at addressing the most pressing socio-economic problems in the region. And even if they are, they are not always spent rationally. What are the causes? How to change the situation? How to improve the cost effectiveness of territorial budgets? Read more in the article.
