Abstract:

The article summarizes a number of theories that explain the process of development of organizations in retail trade, including the ones based on concepts of cyclic recurrence, conflict, organization life cycle, accordion, environment, etc. According to the writer, awareness of the theories in question promotes correct management of the trade business development.
