Abstract:

The paper analyzes the problem of mortgage in Russia. Mortgage in this country is thirteen years old. Since its early days, the lending terms and mortgage rates have improved dramatically. Yet one cannot say that mortgage has become affordable for all. What is the obstacle? Answering this question, the writer turns to international experience of mortgage.
