International factoring in Russia is not growing, despite the increase in turnover. In 2011, only 0.04% of the total supply of foreign goods was serviced by Russian factoring companies. Problems that occur upon conducting international factoring operations are discussed in the paper, which also includes some suggestions in terms of how to solve them.
