Abstract:

The author shows the current state of high-tech products export in Russia. We have analyzed the reasons of scientific and technological gap with developed countries. It is suggested that in the near future the possibility of a substantial increase of Russian exports of high technology products seem to be rather limited due to the outbreak of the financial and economic crisis. It is therefore proposed a substantial reduction in customs duties on foreign production equipment, which is not produced in our country, as well as attracting foreign firms, which are not able to realize their developments due to lack of funds.
