Abstract:

The article considers the situation in the Primorsky Region, where it is planned to hold the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum this year. According to the Government, the event is a political cause for raising funds to seriously engage in the development of the Far East. The writer analyzes in detail, in which ways this work is being done now as the preparations for the summit are under way.
