Abstract:

The article provides analysis of the role and significance of the cooperative sector of the economy. Special emphasis is placed on the kind of support that cooperative entrepreneurship may give to some industries in the national economy under unstable circumstances. The overall experience of emergence and development of cooperative enterprises in Russia is outlined, too.
