The paper contains analysis of the quantitative and qualitative changes in the forms of production and business, i.e. commercial economic activities. Conclusions are then drawn on the succession of stages of development of economic practices. The writer’s hypothesis is that the first half of the 21st century will see, among all, the decay and demolition of the big industrial technocratic corporative structures and the gradual replacement thereof by the new forms of economic organization, namely the social corporations.
