Abstract:

At present, the main effort on the part of the state authorities in terms of housing solutions is applied to providing availability of purchase and ownership of housing, whereas with regard to development of rental housing market the emphasis is on the social rent. The paper demonstrates the prospects for establishing apartment blocks for rent that are highly attractive for investment.
