Russia has entered the World Trade Organization. How will that influence the domestic fishing industry? Both positive and negative possible impact is discussed in the paper. As a means of smoothing down the possible negative effects, the writer suggests restructuring the existing enterprises in terms of organizing regional fishing corporations.
