Abstract:

The paper is a study of fundamental reasons for the urgent necessity of reforming the system of agricultural sector, which defines the optimal scale of state support by both federal and regional budgets. The situation in the Russian agriculture is compared to that in the USA and EU. The writer affirms that the standard of governmental support in Russia lags significantly behind.
