Abstract:

Venture capitalists may not confine themselves to just investing their money into a given business, but can also add its value on condition that they play an active role in the portfolio company management. The article describes the basic ways of the portfolio company value creation at all stages of the investment cycle: prior to investment, during financial cooperation, and at the output.
