Abstract:

Unemployment insurance is one of the most scrutinized governmental support programs for the unemployed in the developed countries. Within over 75 years the Federal-State Unemployment Insurance Program in the US, which is funded by employers, has become an essential element in the social security system, a welfare guarantee for the period of both employment and another job search.
