Abstract:

The system of the social and labor relations relevant to the present stage of development has not been formed yet. It is necessary to constantly monitor the operation of the system of social and labor relations in order to forecast its development and to evaluate the effectiveness of the state social and economic policy. Monitoring is a method which allows doing that. The article defines the purpose, functions and stages of its implementation, as well as the indicators to be controlled to prevent the emergence of social tension.
