Abstract:

The article analyzes factors of optimal functioning of the material flow in a logistics chain. It emphasizes that the efficiency of logistics systems is affected by such things as purchasing and selling prices for all stock keeping units and the supply chain itself is considered as the capital advanced in it. The best way to manage this capital (material flow) is to make optimization calculations in terms of the base value of the capital as applied to the entire supply chain.
