Abstract:

The author analyzes the situation in the agrarian sector in Azerbaijan. According to her, although the industry is at a relatively low development level, it provides competitive advantages that can contribute to the republic's integration into the global community. To do so, the author suggests strengthening the state regulation of prices for agricultural products in order to maintain the profitability of agricultural production and improve its competitiveness.
