Abstract:

The article deals with characteristics of the terms "finance" and "financial system", advanced features of finance and the stages of their development. The author provide the characteristics of efficient financial systems. She note, that a transformation of traditional understanding of financial system has occurred. To clarify the essence of these changes the author analyze the basic operation of the national financial system and the key tools of financial relations.
