The methodology of scenario planning is extremely practical: to many major corporations, industries, regions, it yields results that can gauge the impact of strategic decisions in the sphere of economy, finance, environment, social services, develop long-term investment strategies and plans, to adequately assess the existing and emerging risks. The relevance of the scenario methodology is confirmed by the increasing globalization, the need to develop long-term strategy for the development of complex socio-economic systems.
