Abstract:

The article examines the integration processes in the Russian power industry at the present stage. It analyzes activities of Inter RAO UES OJSC, one of the largest Russian energy companies in the market of mergers and acquisitions. The author defines the major representatives of the industry as well as analyzes trends in the redistribution of electric power assets and implementation mechanisms of integration processes.
