Abstract:

The author analyzes the relationship of income of the population with the number of employed persons in Russia's regions with different levels of education in the period from 1999 to 2007. Showed a significant contribution to make to the incomes of regions workers with higher or incomplete higher education, as well as the positive impact they have on the growth of total employment.
