Abstract:

The article focuses on the development of resort and recreation business in the region of Caucasian Mineral Waters. Change in ownership of the existing recreation facilities and the official recognition of the Caucasian Mineral Waters as a protected ecological and resort area has not yet led to the high efficiency of the existing resort business there. What are the causes? The author shows the need for investments, which are required in all aspects of resort and recreation businesses, as well as the use of modern methods of marketing and management, coupled with a rational government regulation.
