Abstract:

The article examines the impact of institutional change on economic growth and suggests a classification of related problems: 1) national features of formal and informal institutions and economic growth, 2) path dependence and economic growth, 3) reforms and economic growth and 4) inefficient institutions and economic growth. The article summarizes the experience of theoretical and empirical researches of these issues.
