Abstract:

The article examines the cluster principle of industrial development. The authors show that the operation within a cluster increases competitiveness of industrial enterprises and promotes innovations. The advantages of cluster approach are exemplified by the Russian Center for PVC processing cluster, which is now being created in the Nizhni Novgorod Region.
