Abstract:

The article examines theoretical and practical aspects of problems associated with choosing the directions of investment activities of regional commercial banks. The author analyzes the concept of investment banking and highlights the features of small and medium-sized credit institutions. He makes an analysis of various investment directions of regional banks by the example of the Ulyanovsk Region. Conclusions regarding the features of the Ulyanovsk Region, presented in the article, can be used by credit institutions in other regions of the Russian Federation.
