Abstract:

The article defines the main directions of transformation strategies of transnational banks, including the following: reducing the growth rate of the global banking industry, enhancing the value of retail deposits as a source of funding, restricting the volumes of foreign investments, the growth processes of consolidation and concentration of banking capital and strengthening the position of the leading multinational banks in the main developing countries.
